In these days and times people dealing with gangs are doing drugs. Over ten million people are killing people every second because of gangs. With the time period of 2006 until the present, there have been so many deaths dealing with gangs. People get in gangs because there friends are in it and they think its cool.My best friend got shot in the leg and arm over gangs. you can't even walk in the world without hearing bout a person getting shot over saying 5popping 6 dropping or the other way around.Gang violence is hurting one an others!

The story behind my topic:D

Gang violence here in the U.S is getting out of hand. The first time I heard about gang violence was when I started middle school. I would here people say "oh my family got shot last night because of throwing up signs!" I was in shocked! Right now in the U.S there are over 30,000s gangs with 800,000 members in them. Today people pick to do gangs because they want to feel powerful. Another reason is they feel as if their friend is in there they should be because if not they wont be their friend anymore.Gang violence is harsh! you loose people that is close to you. I choose this topic because it made me think alot more about the way of life.
